This summer, we had even more brand new activities from which campers could choose. Whether they learned how to exit a kayak under water, carved an object out of a block of wood, dunked their counselor in the pool or climbed up our 35 foot tree climb, they had a blast. At the time of registration, campers selected one track to participate in each morning before lunch. Campers cooked dinner and smores over the campfire and slept under the stars one evening with their cabin mates and counselors! The Delaware paddle trip was an ideal introduction to canoeing and outdoor living. Campers had the opportunity to truly learn what it meant to work together as a team, rely on one another and discover what Christ-like community was all about in a smaller group atmosphere! Campers spenr the night at Kenbrook on Sunday where they received complete orientation and basic instruction. By Monday afternoon, campers were canoeing down the Delaware River and were setting up camp each evening, cooking dinner over the fire and debriefing the day. Adventurers camp provided a safe way for our youngest campers to get acquainted with the outdoors while learning more about God and making new camp friends! Cabin groups rotated through various activities such as canoeing, swimming, craft making, and outdoor skills where they learned how to build a campfire. Youth ages 14-18. June 14-19. This year we welcomed Pastor Billy Sanderson and his team of youth from Minnesota! Teens came ready to hear dynamic and relevant messages where faith and life intersected. In addition, Billy’s team of teenagers invited campers to share in a variety of worship venues such as musical praise and worship, interpretive dance and drama. Other activities throughout the week included: a Carless Drive-In Movie, overnight under the stars, concert of prayer, banquet and talent show, coffee house, and a volleyball tourney!
